U15 A Hurling Championship Semi Final – GBC v Dicksboro 26/08/2020
Graigue Ballycallan U15’s came out on top again Wednesday evening last in John Locke Park Callan after a hard fought battle with a strong Dicksboro side that last year pipped them at the post to take the Féile title.
Although it was a 5 goal win for the men in blue the two teams were more evenly matched then the scoreboard would suggest at the end. Read more
U15 A Hurling Championship Quarter Final 19/08/2020 – GBC v Tullogher Rosbercon
Graigue Ballycallan and Tullogher Rosbercon U15’s braved the weather on Wednesday evening 19th August in Kilmanagh in a Quarter Final Championship decider.
It was the locals that got off to a quick start with two early goals and from there never looked back. It was a strong team performance from 1 to 15 from the men in blue. The backs defended tenaciously for the hour, the midfield duo worked hard all evening and the forwards picked off the scores from the quality ball they were fed from the men outside. Read more

Our Senior hurlers are in action on Saturday 15th August v Mullinavat in the 3rd Round of the St. Canice’s Credit Union Hurling League.
This match is being played in Nowlan Park, throw-in 3.30pm. Due to continued restrictions at GAA matches the numbers are limited to 200. Kilkenny GAA will be streaming the match LIVE on the following link:

U15 A Hurling League/Championship 12/8/2020 – GBC v O’Loughlin Gaels
Graigue Ballycallan U15’s recorded a convincing win over O’Loughlin Gaels on Wednesday night in John’s Park. It was a strong team performance all round with the full forward line of Aaron McEvoy, Ryan Corcoran and Jake O’Brien scoring 3-7 from play between them. Billy O’Neill gave an outstanding performance at centre back scoring two long range frees in the process with Dean O’Brien and Pat Purcell completing a strong half back line. Read more
U15 A Hurling League/Championship – 5/8/2020 – GBC v James Stephens
Graigue Ballycallan U15’s continued their 2020 League/Championship campaign on Wednesday night (5th Aug) against James Stephen’s on the Kells Road. The locals got a good start with a goal from Ryan Corcoran but the home team soon levelled with 3 quick points in succession. From there to the half time break it was score for score with the teams level 1-3 to 0-6 at the interval.

Senior Hurling League 1st Round – GBC v Clara 31/07/2020
GBC made the trip to Freshford for the opening round of the St. Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling League against Clara on Friday evening 31st July 2020.
Playing against the wind in the first half, GBC opened the scoring with a Sean Ryan free within the first minute but it didn’t take long for Clara to get into the game to leave the score after 8 minutes 0-1 to 0-4. After 12 minutes Sean Ryan won a great ball, played it across the field to Jesse Roberts who controlled it very well and score a fine point from play. 0-2 to 0-4. Within 2 minutes a short puck out from Ciaran Hoyne to James Ryall who found Jesse Roberts on the left wing, scored another fine point. 0-3 to 0-4. After the water break that man again Jesse Roberts, who was causing serious problems for the Clara half back line, scored another great point from play. 0-4 to 0-4. From there on in, Clara had the better of GBC and out scored GBC 1-6 to 0-3 leaving the halftime score 1-10 to 0-7 to Clara.

U15 Hurling League/Championship – 29/07/2020 – GBC v Erin’s Own
Graigue Ballycallan U15’s opened their 2020 League/Championship campaign with a 6 point (2 goal) win against a strong Erin’s Own team in Kilmanagh on Wednesday evening in far from ideal hurling conditions.
In the opening few minutes the teams looked evenly matched but the locals pulled away mid way through the first half thanks to 2 brilliant goals from an impressive Aaron McEvoy. Read more
