Camogie team building day in Derg Isle

A huge well done to the Intermediates who completed a very physically and mentally challenging but enjoyable day on Saturday 26th August at Derg Isle Team Building Centre in Scariff, Co. Clare. Thank you very much to the centre for their work with the girls yesterday making it a very worthwhile experience for the team and management. A special congratulations to the girls for smashing the ladies team’s record in the log run at the end of the day. Highly recommended for any sports teams! Photos and videos from the day can be seen on the ‘Official St. Brigid’s Camogie Club’ Facebook page.

U12 camogie news

Report by Tara Hogan
A big well done must go to our U12 girls who played their hearts out against rivals Tullaroan in their County Semi Final on Monday night, 28th August. Rain, wind and home venue for the opposing team weren’t going to deter the girls and they started the game on a strong note. Everyone from number 1 to 19 had a great impact, fighting for every ball and never giving up. Read more

U8 camogie Tullaroan blitz

Nine of the St Brigid’s U8 Camogie girls took part in the annual Tullaroan camogie biltz. They played their hearts out against Johnstown/Galmoy, host club Tullaroan and finally Freshford. All 9 girls gave a great display of their camogie skills and as usual never gave up. Most of this team are still eligible for U8 for the next year or two. So plenty of potential stars for the future. We have one Go Games blitz left to be played on our home turf in Kilmanagh and this should round off a very successful season for the girls. -Report by John Cahill

Report by Martin Delahunty
Graigue Ballycallan 3-22            Cloneen/Railyard 0- 8

Graigue Ballycallan ran out comprehensive winners against Cloneen/Railyard in Palmerstown on Monday 7th August in the Championship 1st Round.  After an uncertain few minutes the lads settled in and raced to an early lead thanks to great link up play in the forward lines. On the night the backs dealt with any attacks at ease and kept their opponents to shooting from distance. Read more
