U12 Review 2017
Report by Michelle Neary
2017 was a very enjoyable year for all involved due to the continued success of the St. Aidan’s school team which was backboned by the majority of Under 12 panel. We had a fairly quite start to the year, added to that 10 of our panel were also part of the under 14 panel, taking part in the Football and Hurling League and Championship and also the Féile.

GAA Scór na nÓg – Set Theatre – Monday 27/11/2017
Graigue-Ballycallan GAA club and St. Brigid’s Camogie clubs were well represented in the Kilkenny final of the GAA Scór na nÓg competition held in The Set Theatre last Monday evening. For the younger members it was their first experience of performing in competition on stage and they provided great entertainment for the large audience in attendance. Great credit to the large crowd from the parish who were present to cheer them on.

Minor Review 2017
By Adrian Ronan & Tom Hogan
Minors 2017 was a year that we were so looking forward to, a year where we had great hope and expectations because we knew we had the quality. U21B North HC Quarter Final – GBC v James Stephens B – 11/11/2017
Report by Philomena Brennan
The Quarter-Final of the Roinn B U21 Championship took place in Danesfort on the 11th November. Conditions were poor throughout the game with continuous rain which did not lend itself to open hurling. However the local boys concentrated on getting the win under the belt so they could advance to the Semi-Final. From the start it was evident that GBC were dominant in all sectors and with a workman-like performance they ran out very easy winners on the day.
Final Score: GBC 2-17 James Stephens B 0-6
Scores for GBC: Sean Ryan 1-6(3fs), Billy Ryan 0-4, Adam O’Brien 1-0, Colum Prendiville 0-2, Shane Hennessy 0-2 Aaron Brennan 0-1, Eamon Egan 0-1, Jesse Roberts 0-1.
Another piece of silverware for the collection!
