Report by Niall Egan
GBC U12’s were invited to the Young Ireland’s U12 Tournament on Saturday May 19th. Our boys were drawn in a group with Clara, Piltown and Graignamanagh. On what was a glorious morning, we took on Clara in the opening fixture. This match was very well-balanced throughout. Match two saw us pitted against a strong Piltown side who were in control throughout. Despite this our boys never dropped their heads and kept hurling until the final whistle. Full Time Score: GBC 1-2 Piltown 4-4.
