Our U10s played out a three team blitz last Sunday 14th June in Kilmanagh. The boys were divided into Team Kilkenny, Team Ballycallan and Team Bibs!
Kilkenny and G/Ballycallan played the opening match. A flurry of late goals saw GBC win 6-4 to 3-3.
Next up GBC took on The Bibs, this was end to end entertainment with great skill shown by both sides. The Bibs won this game 4-4 to 3-4. Read more
A huge congratulations to St.Aidan’s NS camogie team on a fantastic win in the Roinn A county final on Saturday 13th June. The girls beat Thomastown 3-8 to 0-2. A very impressive performance by all in a game where they led from the start. Some great players are coming up the line so the future is very bright for the club! Well done again girls!
A public sale of tickets for the Kilkenny v Wexford Leinster Semi-Final will take place in Nowlan Park on Wednesday 17th June between 6pm and 8pm.

Congratulations to Maura Comerford, Knockeenbawn on winning 1st prize of a car in the first Piltown draw of the year. Also to John Ryan, Desart and Patrick Duffy St. Francis Terrace, Kilkenny who both scooped €200 each.
The club would like to say a massive thanks to all Piltown Ticket Sellers and of course everyone who purchased a ticket. We exceeded our sales for 2014 and this is down to a huge effort by all involved. Thanks again!

The annual U14 Declan Byrne Memorial Tournament was held in Tom Ryall Park on Saturday last, 6th June. There was huge work put in by all in organising teams, officials and preparing the grounds for the big day. In all, 8 clubs participated in the tournament with the first games getting under way at 10am sharp in glorious sunshine. As each team finished their first match all players, officials and parents were served refreshments by the tireless team in the kitchen who worked hard from early morning to make sure nobody went thirsty or hungry. A great evening was had by all on Tuesday 9th June in Larchfield at the Kilkenny Camogie ‘Meet and Greet’ event. It was a great opportunity for all our young players to meet our adult county players. Pictured at the event were county players Aisling Dunphy, Therese Muldowney and Ciara Murphy and our u-11 club players Kate McCluskey, Reece Delaney and Ellie Lanigan.
Congratulations to Aisling Dunphy, Therese Muldowney and Ciara Murphy who were part of the Kilkenny senior and intermediate camogie teams who won their Leinster finals on Sunday 7th June in Nowlan Park. The intermediates beat Meath 1-13 to 1-9 and the seniors came out on top against Offaly on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-9. Well done to all involved on fantastic wins!
Congratulations to St. Aidan’s National School camogie team who have reached the Roinn A schools county final. They beat Glenmore 5-7 to 1-0 on the 5th June in the semi final. Well done to the girls, Helen and Stephen. They now play Thomastown in the county final on Saturday 13th June at 1.40pm in Nowlan Park. Best of luck to all!
