Well done to our Intermediates who are now through to a league semi-final after topping their group due to a win over Rower Inistioge in the 3rd round of the league. The Rower, who are fresh down from Senior travelled to Kilmanagh on a windy Monday 20th July. Read more
Graigue Ballycallan played Thomastown in the Minor Hurling League last Monday in Thomastown. Thomastown were fastest out of the blocks and had two goals on the board within the first fifteen minutes. Sean Ryan scored five points in the half while Ciaran Hogan, Dylan Lanigan and Colum Prendiville added a point each. Just before the break, Dylan Lanigan netted for GBC, following good work by Sean Ryan. It was all to play for at half time as the score read GBC 1-8, Thomastown 2-6.
Graigue Ballycallan Intermediates squared up to Tullogher Rosbercon on Saturday night last in what was a potentially season-defining contest. The first half was very evenly contested, with Eddie Brennan and James Ryall chaperoning Walter Walsh and efficiently limiting his effect on the game. Eddie was clinical in his score taking, while Niall Millea contributed three points in the first twenty minutes.
A huge congratulations to St.Aidan’s NS camogie team on a fantastic win in the Roinn A county final on Saturday 13th June. The girls beat Thomastown 3-8 to 0-2. A very impressive performance by all in a game where they led from the start. Some great players are coming up the line so the future is very bright for the club! Well done again girls!
Congratulations to St. Aidan’s National School camogie team who have reached the Roinn A schools county final. They beat Glenmore 5-7 to 1-0 on the 5th June in the semi final. Well done to the girls, Helen and Stephen. They now play Thomastown in the county final on Saturday 13th June at 1.40pm in Nowlan Park. Best of luck to all!
The Kilkenny senior and intermediate camogie teams are both playing in Leinster Finals this Sunday in Nowlan Park at 2pm and 4.15pm. The seniors meet Offaly and the intermediates are against Meath. Please support Kilkenny and our club girls Aisling Dunphy and Therese Muldowney. Best of luck girls!

Neighbours and arch rivals Graigue Ballycallan and Tullaroan went head to head in the third round of the Intermediate Hurling League in Palmerstown and it was Tullaroan who shaded victory by a point. Brave Graigue Ballycallan never gave up and there was never much between the teams in a game full of excitement. Read more

Graigue Ballycallan were in fine form last Sunday as they began their 2015 intermediate campaign, with a deserved win against Thomastown in a rematch of the previous year’s quarter final. The Kilmanagh side began at a blistering pace, racing into a four point lead during the opening seven minutes. Read more
GBC Minors took on Piltown in Kilmanagh in the first round of the Roinn A hurling league. The home side were slow to settle into the game and almost 20 minutes had passed before they found their rhythm. Read more
