Vision 2020 Development Update

As many of you are aware the Graigue-Ballycallan GAA Club has embarked on an ambitious plan of development of the facilities in Tom Ryall Park. Last year, the roof of the complex was totally replaced and a new mower purchased. Several grant applications have been submitted to various Funding Bodies and we expect to hear how and if these applications have been successful by the end of the summer. A Full Planning Permission application for the proposed new building and walkway was also submitted to Kilkenny Co Co. A request for further information and clarification of some aspects of our application has been requested by the Council and we are dealing with this request as we speak. Read more

Best of Luck in Exams

We would like to wish all the Junior and Leaving Cert students from Graigue Ballycallan GAA Club and St. Brigid’s Camogie Club the very best of luck in their exams which start tomorrow, 5th June. We hope to see you all back on the playing field when exams are over! 

Presentation to Primary School

The club presented our primary school camogie team with sliotars and water bottles recently for the year ahead. Pictured are Principle Robbie Byrne along with 6th class teacher Vivienne Ryan and pupils from the camogie team. All the best for the year girls.

U8 Camogie Blitz Sat 11 th May ‘19

We had our first Blitz on home turf Saturday morning last 11th May, playing Freshford and Young Ireland’s. The girls were brilliant and displayed great determination in both games. A special well done to the girls who participated in their first ever Blitz. A big thank you to Maurice who had the pitch in great order as usual, our Referee Brian and all the parents who helped out in the kitchen.
