U8 Tournament – Inistioge – 30 August 2014
Our U-8’s had a much improved outing in the Inistioge Tournament on Saturday the 30th August. All matches were 10-a-side with the first half ground hurling only. First up was St. Mullins. After a sluggish first half, we went in at HT 1-0 to no score behind. In the second half, despite great efforts and two disallowed goals, our lads couldn’t get a deserved equaliser. U9s reach final of Callan Alive Tournament – 3rd August 2014

On Sunday August 3rd the U-9 team participated in the annual John Locke’s Tournament in Callan. The team along with the U-12 team paraded through the town led by the Ballycallan Fife and Drum Band. Our U-9 team were missing a few players who were away on holidays. This tournament is a ground hurling tournament. Read more
