It was an enjoyable morning for all.

Well done to our U12’s who had a very hard fought win over John Locke’s on Monday 8th July at home in the League. It was a very close game with neither team winning by much at any stage. The work rate and determination that the girls showed especially in the last 10 minutes was fantastic to see.
All players dug deep to come out with the win on a scoreline of 6-3 to 5-1. Thank you to all who came to support the girls, our next game is on 22nd July. Details to follow!
GBC U13’s played Mooncoin in Round 2 of the Roinn B League in Tom Ryall Park on Friday last 28th June. Again this young team came up against a bigger physical side but they refused to take a step back. Mooncoin opened with a pointed free but GBC responded with a well taken goal from Aidan Ging to go ahead early. It was end to end for most of the first half with both defence’s on top, in particular Ben McEvoy was excellent between the posts for GBC. After going 15 minutes without scoring, a late ’65 and a long range shot from No.6 Aidan Comerford dropped under the crossbar and gave GBC a lead 2-3 to 0-4 at Half Time. Read more

These boys have been training together with U11s since late February in preparation for school’s and club matches. They’ve played 4 challenge matches over the last month with mixed performances so the management team were unsure how the opening match would go against a physically bigger Kilmacow team.
