U10 Go Games – Team Blue -Nowlan Park 6/6/2015

Report by Niall Egan

Team Blue played Lisdowney in Nowlan Park on Saturday 6th of June in the Go Games finals. Playing 9 a-side with a strong breeze our lads started well, with Ryan, James & Aaron getting the Kilmanagh side off to a lively start. We rotated our subs every few minutes but this didn’t interupt our dominance.

Thanks to Ben and Aaron who agreed to play the 2nd half with Lisdowney, meaning everyone got full game time. For the record we won 5 games and drew 1 to complete our round of Go Game fixtures.

Panel: Aidan Cahill, Paidí Egan, Ben Young, James O’Halloran, Aidan Comerford, Aaron McEvoy, Chris Mahony, James Casey, Elliot Teehan, Donnacha Cleere, Ryan Corcoran.

We played Glenmore and Conahy Shamrocks recently in our last round of Go Games.

We made the long journey to Glenmore on Saturday 16th May. Glenmore made a strong start, leading 3-1 to no score after 10mins. Our lads finished the half stronger with good scores from Aaron, Elliot and Ryan to leave the score 3-1 to 2-2 at half time. The 2nd half was end to end with scores hard to get. Our backs defended well keeping Glenmore scoreless to win on a scoreline 4-6 to 3-1.  Read more
