Limerick beat the intermediate team by 1-12 to 0-10. They were the better team throughout the game but the Kilkenny girls fought hard and never gave up right to the end. Aisling Dunphy with the senior camogie panel comes up against Cork this Sunday in Croke Park. They beat last year’s champions Galway in the semi-final and they go into the game as league champions and favourites. They will try to win back the O’Duffy cup after a 20 year famine! The match is at 4pm.
Therese Muldowney is also in preparation for Sunday as the intermediate panel meet Limerick on the day. They beat Leinster champions Kildare in their semi final. The match is on at 2pm.
Best of luck to both girls and hopefully two All-Ireland medals will be coming back to the club!
