u6 trainers 2016

Our U6 camogie team had a great 1st training session on Wednesday 28th April with our brilliant trainers! Thank you to all the parents who brought the girls and made sure they were all geared up! Let’s hope this is the start of a long and successful camogie career for these girls!

U16 Leinster Champions!

Well done to Laoise Prendiville and Kym Ryan who were part of the Kilkenny U-16 camogie team who recently won the Leinster championship. They were up against Dublin and beat them on a scoreline of 3-18 to 3-6. It is brilliant to see our club members succeeding at this level so keep up the great work girls!

U12 camogie get off to a great start!

Report by Mary East

St. Brigid’s U-12 camogie team kicked off their year with a challenge match on Saturday 16/4/16. The girls took on Dicksboro and from the first whistle the girls settled down into the game. Each player showed great skill and determination throughout the whole match. They came out with a win and are looking forward to their first blitz of the year next Saturday 23rd April in Kilmanagh at 10am. Onwards and upwards from here girls!
