Leinster medal for Aisling

Congratulations to Aisling Dunphy and the Kilkenny Seniors who won the Leinster Final on Sunday 28th May against Offaly. Final score was 1-14 to 1-13. We also had three of our upcoming stars lining out at half time, Robin Delaney, Lauren Ronan & Moya O’Brien so well done to all on a great day!

Leinster win for Loreto minors

Well done to the Loreto Minor Camogie team who beat Presentation on Friday 26th May in the Leinster Final. From the club, Kate McCluskey, Sarah Harrison, Molly Butler, Isabel Caldbeck, Cara Keating & Kate Everard were on the Loreto team so well done girls. Ellie O’Neill, Roisin Casey, Tara Ronan, Reece Delaney, Abby O’Keeffe, Kelly Lanigan & Margaret Maher were part of the Pres contingent. It’s fantastic to see so many girls succeeding at school level so keep up the great work everyone!

U8 Camogie Blitz 7/5/2017

Well done to our U8’s who took part in a Camogie blitz in St. Kieran’s College on Sunday last, 7th May. This was their first day out and a great day was had by all. The girls played 3 matches against Windgap, Young Ireland’s Team A and Young Ireland’s Team B. All players were presented with a medal from Angela Downey on behalf of St Kieran’s College.

 

U12 camogie news

A huge well done to all of our U12 girls who have been super busy over the past few weeks representing St. Brigid’s Camogie club. On the 22nd April the club hosted a blitz for St. Lachtain’s, Muckalee, and Tullaroan. It was a very successful day, with our U12 girls giving fantastic performances in each of their three games. League win for Kilkenny & Aisling

Well done to Aisling Dunphy and the Kilkenny Senior Camogie team on winning the League Final on Sunday 23rd April for a second year in a row. Final score Kilkenny 2-7 Cork 0-10. Aisling had a great game covering a serious amount of ground as usual at midfield. She also got a point from play so well done Aisling from all in the club!

U16 camogie league vs James Stephens 21/4/17

Our U16’s played their first game of the year on Friday 21st April in Kells Rd against a good James Stephens side. From the whistle the girls were determined and the hardworking Tara Ronan started off the scoring in the 4th minute with a point from play. James Stephens replied with a goal and a point but the girls bounced back and Katie Brennan scored a goal of her own. Read more
