U10 camogie Freshford blitz

Well done to our U10’s who were invited to Freshford on Sunday 30th July to take part in their field day. The girls played great once again and won their two matches. Well done girls and keep it up!
They are playing Callan this Tuesday evening, 1st August, in Kilmanagh at 6.30pm before our Intermediates play Paulstown at 7.30pm. All support welcome. Best of luck to all!

U8 Freshford blitz – Saturday 22/07/2017

This morning 10 of our U8 girls travelled to Freshford for their 3rd Go Games of the summer. They played 3 games against Naomh Brid, Freshford and Emeralds.
From start to finish in each game these little bravehearts played their hearts out to win. And win they did, in 2 out of 3 games. Again, as with their last Go Games they played for each other and their club and done us proud once again. Given the age profile of this team it was a tremendous morning’s work. Again well done girls! The next Go Games will be at home in Kilmanagh in late August.

U8 camogie – Conahy Blitz

The St. Brigid’s U8 team participated in the recent Go Games hosted by Conahy Camogie Club. The girls played in 3 games against hosts Conahy, Muckalee and Freshford. Even though only a few of our girls are up to the age they played their hearts out in all 3 games. They played with a never say die attitude and done their club proud with their display of camogie. Well done girls! Our next Go Games is coming up in a few weeks. – Report by John Cahill.
