Rain, wind and home venue for the opposing team weren’t going to deter the girls and they started the game on a strong note. Everyone from number 1 to 19 had a great impact, fighting for every ball and never giving up. Read more

Participating in the U14 Kilkenny squads were the following St. Brigid’s girls -Reece Delaney, Caragh Keating, Ellie O’Neill, Kate McCluskey and Roisin Casey. Nine of the St Brigid’s U8 Camogie girls took part in the annual Tullaroan camogie biltz. They played their hearts out against Johnstown/Galmoy, host club Tullaroan and finally Freshford. All 9 girls gave a great display of their camogie skills and as usual never gave up. Most of this team are still eligible for U8 for the next year or two. So plenty of potential stars for the future. We have one Go Games blitz left to be played on our home turf in Kilmanagh and this should round off a very successful season for the girls. -Report by John Cahill
