St. Brigid’s Camogie Club’s second whist drive of the year which was due to take place on Sunday 1st November has been cancelled. The next whist drive will now take place on 20th November in the usual Palmerstown venue at 8pm.
This years 1st whist drive took place in the usual Palmerstown venue on Friday 8th October. 12 and a half tables took part. Thank you to all who supported the night which was in aid of Amber Womens Refuge Kilkenny.

St. Brigid’s camogie club would like to thank everyone who took part in and supported our All-Ireland score forecast competition. As there was no correct prediction for the score a draw was made to select the winner by Garda Adrian Tobin. James O’Connor was the winner of the €100 prize and Ruth and Kate Purcell won the sellers prize of €50. Congratulations to all!
St. Brigid’s camogie club are now selling lines on our score forecast cards for the All-Ireland hurling final, Kilkenny versus Galway. Predict the correct score and you could win our first prize of €100. €2 per line to enter. All cards must be returned by Friday 4th September. Seller prize €50. All proceeds to St. Brigid’s camogie club. Please support!
The Kilkenny Camogie Greyhound Benefit Night will take place in St. James Park Kilkenny on the 10th July. Door prize – 1 week holiday for 2 in Turkey. Raffle on the night. Tickets €10 and are available from the club committee.
The Kilkenny senior and intermediate camogie teams are both playing in Leinster Finals this Sunday in Nowlan Park at 2pm and 4.15pm. The seniors meet Offaly and the intermediates are against Meath. Please support Kilkenny and our club girls Aisling Dunphy and Therese Muldowney. Best of luck girls!
