There will be a very important meeting on the future of Ballycallan Hall on Thursday 13th October 2016 at 8.45pm. 
The Hall has recently been transferred by the Parish into a New Community Company. This creates great opportunities for Kilmanagh, Killaloe & Ballycallan to have a state-of-the-art community facility for everyone. A guest speaker will be there on the night to talk about community funding such as ‘Leader’ and ‘County Council’

Light refreshments will be served on the night. Everybody welcome!

GAA Youth Forum 2016

The #GAAyouth Forum is designed by young players, for young players ages 12 – 21. The Forum will be fun and informative with a mix of interactive exhibitions, workshops, high profile speakers and a Q&A session.

Players will leave the Forum having learned invaluable tips and tools that will help them to develop as a player and as a person.

Fantastic turn out at the Annual Drive for Liam Table Quiz held in the Pound, Ballycallan last Thursday night 25th August. 12 tables participated on the night, so great credit to those who got involved. A massive thanks to Martin and Mary McGrath who looked after the teams with food and refreshments, to Eileen, Philomena and Ben for all their help on the night…thanks  Martin Delahunty and Tracy Millea for spot prizes on the night also. The final of the Billy Ronan Memorial Tournament took place in Tom Ryall Park Kilmanagh on Sunday 28th August 2016. Mullinavat came out on top against the locals on a scoreline of 5-20 to 1-20. The cup was presented to the Mullinavat captain by Johnny Ronan.

Huge thanks to all volunteers from the club who helped out on the night – car park attendants, umpires & linesmen. Also, thanks to all supporters who turned up on the night. 

Well done to Conor Flynn, Jesse Roberts, Sean Ryan and Tommy Ronan who helped Kilkenny win the All-Ireland U17 Hurling Tournament for the first time yesterday. They beat Wexford, Limerick, Dublin and overcame Cork in the final! 

Also well done to Stephen Keoghan who was part of the Kilkenny U15 team that won Leinster yesterday

And to Oisin Egan & Eoin Delahunty (U14) and Killian Egan & Aaron Brennan  (U16) who also played with Kilkenny teams in the U14 & U16 grades. It’s wonderful to see so many players from our club representing Kilkenny at these grades. Well done lads!

Drive for Liam Table Quiz on Thursday 25th August in The Pound, Ballycallan. Teams of 4 needed, €20 per team. Fantastic prizes to include 12 Stand Tickets for the All-Ireland, 16 tickets for the All Ireland Banquet and new this year 4 match tickets for u18 teams. Please spread the word!

Draw for All-Ireland Tickets for members will take place on Saturday 27th August at 8.30pm in the Clubrooms

Final of the Billy Ronan Tournament will take place on Sunday 28th August v Mullinavat at 6pm in Tom Ryall Park

Well done to our clubman Billy Ryan on a great performance in the recent All Ireland Intermediate Hurling Final scoring 1-4 on the day. Also, congrats to Graigue Ballycallan GAA Club Chairman, Dave O’Neill who was a selector with the Kilkenny Intermediates this year.
