Adam O’Brien and Aaron Brennan, part of the St.Kieran’s College Team who won the Leinster Juvenile Colleges Final today in Nowlan Park . Well done boys.
Congrats and well done to Billy Ryan and Eamonn Egan, who carried on a proud parish tradition by winning the Croke Cup with St. Kieran’s College today in the All Ireland Senior Colleges Final. St. Kieran’s defeated Thurles CBS on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-12 at Semple Stadium. It was St. Kieran’s 20th All Ireland Colleges triumph which made it that little bit more special. Billy’s first half display was straight out of the top drawer as he scored 3 excellent points and provided a magnificent pass for Kieran’s only goal. Eamonn came off the bench in the 46th minute at a time when Kieran’s backs were under severe pressure and he helped to repel a Thurles CBS onslaught from then right up to the final whistle.
