U16 Roinn A Hurling League Final – Saturday 19/9/2015

Within a week of O’Loughlin’s being crowned U16 Roinn A County Champions, GBC had the opportunity of playing them in the League Final. Having been beaten in the first round comfortably by O’Loughlin’s in August, GBC were eagerly looking forward to the League Final. We had worrying injures going into the match but Conor Flynn, Jesse Roberts and Sean Ryan ignored these and made huge contributions.
So all headed to Freshford knowing that a huge performance was demanded and if we got that performance, well, we would ask questions of this excellent O’Loughlin’s team. This O’Loughlin’s team were unbeaten in two years in all competitions so we knew the task was massive.
U10 Tournament in Ballyhale – 12/9/2015

St. Mary’s, Clonmel – U10 Tournament – 5/9/2015

Graigue Ballycallan U10 team travelled to Clonmel on Saturday morning 5th of September to participate in the annual St. Mary’s tournament. Following last year’s victory in the Shield Final the lads were travelling with hopes of doing well.

Drive for Liam Radio Quiz – 27/8/2015
The Annual Drive for Liam Radio Quiz Night was held across forty three centres on Thursday 27th August last. This is one of the fund-raising events held by Kilkenny GAA in an effort to raise funds for the Senior Kilkenny Hurling Team in the run up to their All-Ireland appearance against Galway on the 6th September. Family Fun Day 2015

The Graigue-Ballycallan GAA Club and St. Brigid’s Camogie Club annual Family Fun Day took place on the 23rd August last. For several weeks coming up to the event, countless numbers of club volunteers worked tirelessly in preparation for what is now a well established and much anticipated local event. In the days prior to the 23rd, meteorologists, both local and national were predicting weather, which ranged from showers to tropical downpours!. U10 Tullaroan blitz – Sunday 30/8/2015

Well done to the under 10’s who travelled to Tullaroan last Sunday. They played two matches and were victorious in both. In the first game the boys played Galmoy. They opened up a commanding lead with Elliot Teehan(3-1) and Jeff Neary(2-2) to the fore with scores. GBC were solid in defence with Sean Roberts and Ryan Corcoran keeping the Galmoy attack’s at bay. The boys continued to dominate in the second half which saw Sean Roberts score 3 goals. The boys won well on a scoreline 11-10 to 2–4 and set up a second match against Tullaroan. Read more
Drive for Liam Table Quiz
The annual Drive for Liam Table Quiz in association with KCLR and in aid of Kilkenny All-Ireland Training Fund will be held in Brennan’s Bar, Kilmanagh on Thursday night 27th August at 8.30pm sharp. Great prizes including All-Ireland Tickets, accommodation in Citywest Hotel & tickets to the Banquet. There will be local prizes on the night as well. Team of 4 is €20. Please support!
