U8 Hurling Review 2015

Our Training began in February in Wallslough Indoor Arena, moving to twice weekly training at the Pitch in Kilmanagh and ended with a great day in McDonalds in September!

 As with all Sport, our panel consisted of boys who each had their own skill set, determination and love of the game, but importantly, each had their own part to play in the panel that ensured that it was the Team Success that mattered at the end of the year. Read more

U16 Hurling Review 2015

Graigue Ballycallan  U16s were in Roinn A as a result of winning U16 Roinn B in 2014. Expectations for 2015 were high and the aim for the year was to be competitive.

We operated with a small tight panel as numbers are low towards other years, usually only togged with 19/20 when without the U13s.

With 12 teams in Roinn A League, we were in Group B, avoiding city teams O’Loughlins, Dicksboro, James Stephens and Naas. In our Group we had the best of the country teams Ballyhale, Thomastown, Mooncoin, Danesfort and Dunnamaggin. Read more

U14 Hurling Review 2015

The U14 panel for 2015 started their year with an unbeaten run in the Football league, qualifying for the League Final which is due to be played in early 2016. They continued their tremendous form throughout the championship and earned a place against Glenmore in the County Final. Unfortunately, they fell a bit short on the big day and were beaten by a well drilled Glenmore outfit. Read more

Well Done Oisín and Stephen!

 

Well done to Oisín Egan and Stephen Keoghan both part of the St. Kieran’s College Football team who were victorious in the South Leinster B Final against St. Kevin’s, Dunlavin on Wednesday 2nd December! Full time score St. Kieran’s College 1-10 St. Kevin’s 1-9. Well done lads!

CONDOLENCES

The club would like to express it’s deepest sympathy to Club Chairman, Ben Hayes, Intermediate Selector, Brendan Hayes and Club Insurance Officer, Linda Hayes on the passing this morning of Johanna Hayes, mother and grandmother respectively.

Funeral arrangements will follow later. May she Rest in Peace.
