Congratulations to Dan Cahill and Eoin Delahunty who won the South Leinster Juvenile Football Championship with St. Kierans College on Thursday 8th December. They beat Gorey on a scoreline of 2-12 to 3-7. Well done boys!

U21B North Hurling Championship
Well done to our U21’s who are through to the North Final after beating Young Ireland’s in the Semi Final in a foggy John Locke Park on Saturday 26th November. Great credit to both teams for seeing out this match with limited visibility for most of the second half. The full time score was GBC 2-18 Young Ireland’s 1-13. We now play our neighbours, Tullaroan, in the final at 2pm on Saturday 3rd December in Freshford! Please come out and support the lads.

U21 Hurling Championship QF – GBC v Barrow Rangers
Well done to our U21s on their Quarter Final win over Barrow Rangers on Sunday 19th November in Freshford. Extra time was needed following a goal from Shane Hennessy in the last puck of the game. Graigue Ballycallan went on to win in extra time by 4 points in a hard fought battle in freezing conditions.
Full Time score: Graigue Ballycallan 3-15 Barrow Rangers 4-8. They will now play Young Ireland’s at 2pm in Danesfort on Saturday. All support welcome!

Graigue Ballycallan GAA Club – Social Night – Sunday 30th October 2016
Graigue-Ballycallan Gaa Club are having a Social get together in Ryan’s Bar, Kilmanagh on Sunday 30th October at 9pm.
The Club wishes to express it’s thanks to all who helped out in any way during the year.
So we hope to see Committee Members, Mentors from all age–groups, those who helped with Forecast 2016, the many who helped with Family Fun Day 2016, parents of juveniles and indeed all Club Members in Ryan’s on Sunday night where we can reflect on 2016 and of course look forward to 2017!!.

Ballycallan Community Hall Meeting – Thursday 13th October 2016
There will be a very important meeting on the future of Ballycallan Hall on Thursday 13th October 2016 at 8.45pm.
The Hall has recently been transferred by the Parish into a New Community Company. This creates great opportunities for Kilmanagh, Killaloe & Ballycallan to have a state-of-the-art community facility for everyone. A guest speaker will be there on the night to talk about community funding such as ‘Leader’ and ‘County Council’
Light refreshments will be served on the night. Everybody welcome!
Fennelly Cup U12 Blitz – Saturday 24/09/2016

The inaugural Fennelly Cup U-12 blitz took place last Saturday in the Club Grounds. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side but the Boys all played their part in making this tournament a very enjoyable day for all involved.

U14 Roinn A Championship – 7/09/2016

Graigue Ballycallan U14s played Dicksboro in the Roinn A Hurling Championship First Round in John Locke Park last week. After having a successful year to date, winning 3 out of their 4 league games and qualifying for the County Féile semi-final, the boys were hopeful of going well in the championship proper. The management knew they were up against a formidable Dicksboro side who were hot favourites to win out this Grade.
