Huge congratulations to our u-16 camogie team who have won the Roinn B county final!! The game took place in the James Stephens grounds on the Kells road on Friday evening the 26th September.
They beat Danesfort on a scoreline of 2-3 to 1-5. The girls have now won the double after winning the league nine weeks ago. This gave them the confidence they needed going into the final and they were well prepared for the game. Read more

Best of luck to Ciara Murphy who is part of the Kilkenny minor camogie team who compete in the Leinster final tomorrow. They play Wexford in Naas at 12.15pm. Best of luck to all involved.

U-8 camogie 2014 round-up
The under-8s started the year back on the pitch just before Easter. There was great turn out of 20 players at the start of the year. This was new to some of the girls as it was their first year of under-8s. They are a lovely bunch of girls and they are always willing to learn. Read more

Camogie All-Ireland finals 2014
Hard luck to club members Aisling Dunphy and Therese Muldowney who were part of the Kilkenny Senior and Intermediate camogie teams who lost both All-Ireland finals on Sunday 14th September.
Limerick beat the intermediate team by 1-12 to 0-10. They were the better team throughout the game but the Kilkenny girls fought hard and never gave up right to the end. Therese Muldowney played the whole game at corner back where she played well throughout the game. Unfortunately it just wasn’t their day. Read more

This weekend sees two of our players in All-Ireland final action in a historic double bid. Both the Kilkenny senior and intermediate teams contest this year’s All-Ireland finals.
Aisling Dunphy with the senior camogie panel comes up against Cork this Sunday in Croke Park. They beat last year’s champions Galway in the semi-final and they go into the game as league champions and favourites. They will try to win back the O’Duffy cup after a 20 year famine! The match is at 4pm.
Therese Muldowney is also in preparation for Sunday as the intermediate panel meet Limerick on the day. They beat Leinster champions Kildare in their semi final. The match is on at 2pm.
Best of luck to both girls and hopefully two All-Ireland medals will be coming back to the club!
Bus to camogie All-Ireland final
The camogie club will be running a bus to Croke Park for the camogie finals on Sunday 14th September. Club members Aisling Dunphy and Therese Muldowney are both in action on the day! U-16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Minor camogie semi final
On Saturday 23rd August, St Brigid’s Minor girls took to the field in Ballyhale, to play in the semi finals, their opposition were the formidable Rower, who had recently been crowned league champions after they beat Paulstown in the Minor League final in July.
Aisling & Therese on the road to Croker
Congratulations to Aisling Dunphy who with the Kilkenny senior camogie panel have reached the All-Ireland final. They beat last years champions Galway last Sunday 24th August in The Gaelic Grounds, Limerick. The score was 4-12 to 3-07. They now face the winners of Cork and Wexford in the All-Ireland final on 14th September.
Therese Muldowney is also in preparation for an All-Ireland final as the intermediate panel beat Kildare in their semi final 2 weeks ago. They will meet Limerick on the day.
The club will be running a bus to the finals in Croke Park on 14th September. Details to follow.
