All-Star nomination for Aisling
A huge congratulations to Aisling Dunphy who has been nominated for an All-Star Award in the midfield position for her performance with the Kilkenny Senior camogie team this year. The winners will be announced on November 7th in the City West Hotel. Best of luck from all in the club Aisling!!
Intermediate camogie semi final goes to replay
Our Intermediate camogie team have to do it all over again after drawing level in the championship Semi Final against Rower Inistioge. Even after extra time the teams could not be separated in what was not only the longest game and lowest scoring game of the year but a very tough game! Read more

What a great year and great team! We started off in May with our first blitz in St. Kieran’s College in which the girls did extremely well. From then on we had blitzes every month which were all successful. There were big turn outs at each of the games by both players and parents. Read more

All-Ireland score forecast competition
St. Brigid’s camogie club would like to thank everyone who took part in and supported our All-Ireland score forecast competition. As there was no correct prediction for the score a draw was made to select the winner by Garda Adrian Tobin. James O’Connor was the winner of the €100 prize and Ruth and Kate Purcell won the sellers prize of €50. Congratulations to all!
Intermediate camogie league champs!
Well done to our Intermediate camogie team who beat a tough Tullaroan side in the League Final on Saturday 29th August in Clara. The girls proved too strong though and showed great determination and nerve to come out on top. A huge thank you to all who came to support the girls on the day, it was fantastic to see such a great crowd. Thankfully, the weather held up for the duration of the game and there was some great displays of hurling throughout. Read more
Last blitz of 2015 for u-8 camogie

On Saturday 29th August our u-8s were in Freshford for the last blitz for this year. At u-8 level we have two brilliant teams and on the day both teams had two matches. The great teamwork and brilliant play that both teams showed on the day was a credit to themselves. Read more
U-8 camogie news -Family Fun Day blitz

There was great excitement at the Family Fun Day for the U8 girls who took part in the camogie tournament alongside the U8 boys.
25 girls showed up before 12 o’clock to don the St Brigid’s jersey and march behind the Ballycallan Fife and Drum band, watched by their proud parents and supporters.
With such a large group, we had two teams, a white team and a blue team. Read more

U-12 camogie news

Last Saturday 22nd August our u-12s entered into the Rena Sheridan Memorial Cup after a late call on Thursday evening after a team from Wexford pulled out. Delighted with the invite they started the day against The Village and won the game after a very strong second half display. Read more
