Concussion in Sport Talk
Aut Even Hospital are hosting a talk on Concussion in Sport in the Ormonde Hotel, Kilkenny on Thursday March 3rd 2016 at 7.30pm. The event is free of charge and is aimed at sports coaches, teachers, trainers or the sport enthusiast. Guest speakers on the night are Dr Willie Stewart (Consultant Neuropathologist from Southern General Hospital, Glasgow), Alan Quinlan (ex-Munster & Ireland), Kevin McLaughlin (ex-Leinster & Ireland), Henry Shefflin (10 times All Ireland Wining hurler!) and Rena Buckley (winner of 16 All-Ireland medals). Kilkenny Camogie Easter Camp
Kilkenny Camogie will run a camp for 7 to 14 year old’s with coaching by qualified coaches. Games to develop the child’s basic movement skills and small sided matches to improve the child’s tactical and technical abilities.

Whist drive
St Brigid’s Camogie Club’s next fundraising whist drive takes place this Friday 22nd January at 8pm in Dicksboro. Parents of u14 girls (2015) are asked to look after baking and prizes. All donations welcome. Prizes can be left into Mary Ronan or into Helen Murphy in the school before Friday. All welcome.
