Our Senior camogie girls took on Windgap on Sunday July 8th with an away game in the All-County Lleague. St. Brigid’s dominated for the duration of the game and took the lead with a point in the first minute. From there they pushed on and scored every two to four minutes in the first half. Our backs played well throughout the game and kept the Windgap scores to a minimum, their first point coming in the 30th minute just before the whistle. Half time score 3-10 to 0-1. The midfields and forwards played well together and pulled off some excellent scores throughout the game. The girls came out winners on a scoreline of St. Brigid’s 6-14 Windgap 0-4.
