A big well done must go to our U12 girls who played their hearts out against rivals Tullaroan in their County Semi Final on Monday night, 28th August. Rain, wind and home venue for the opposing team weren’t going to deter the girls and they started the game on a strong note. Everyone from number 1 to 19 had a great impact, fighting for every ball and never giving up.
Two exciting goals rose the spirits of the team but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be as St. Brigid’s ended up losing out by only 2 points with the final score 2-4 to 2-2. We are so proud of all the work these girls have put in so far this year and encourage them to keep it up as we have a Shield competition to look forward to! Heads up girls, this is only the beginning for such a skillful and talented bunch.
