This year’s Family Fun Day will take place on Sunday 20th August 2017. We will have all the usual attractions – underage blitz, inflatables, monster timber auction, bingo and lots lots more. Please spread the word to friends and family.
The Committee are looking for your help with the following:
Timber Auction:
Last year donations of trailers of timber were instrumental in raising much needed funds for Graigue Ballycallan GAA Club & St. Brigid’s Camogie Club. We are appealing again for trailers of timber (no trailer too small) this year in an effort to have an even bigger auction on the day. Please contact Dave O’Neill (Club Chairman) on 086-0671169 if you would like to help.
A Chance to de-clutter
Items for the Bric-a-Brac stall and donations of spot prizes can now be left into the clubrooms. Unwanted gifts, previously loved items, ornaments, pictures, kitchen items, games, books etc will be greatly appreciated. Only two weeks and this is a great opportunity to de-clutter that bedroom, attic, office or garage and help make this Family Fun Day the most successful to date. Thank you for all your support.
Calling all Home-Bakers
A big part of the day is the opportunity to call in to the kitchen for a cup of tea and to select a bun or slice of cake from the wonderful array of confectionery that local home-bakers produce for the event every year. So, the Family Fun Day Committee are calling on all in the parish to get baking and would be very grateful for donations of buns, cakes, tarts etc which will make this year’s culinary display the best so far. Thank you for your continued support.
