A huge well done to all of our U12 girls who have been super busy over the past few weeks representing St. Brigid’s Camogie club. On the 22nd April the club hosted a blitz for St. Lachtain’s, Muckalee, and Tullaroan. It was a very successful day, with our U12 girls giving fantastic performances in each of their three games.
After all their hard work, they ended the morning with smiles which let’s say were due to more than the wafers and ice cream they had after!
In the second outing, on Saturday 6th May, the St. Brigid’s girls travelled to O’Loughlin Gaels to challenge Dicksboro, O’Loughlin’s and St. Fiachras. Although it was cold conditions the U12s worked their magic in each game with strength and determination. The skills and teamwork involved were delightful to watch and the girls did themselves and the club proud on both days. We are delighted to have such a great bunch of girls this year and we look forward to our next blitz as well as seeing these girls on our future St. Brigid’s teams. Maith sibh cailiní.
