Our club celebrated all the success of 2018 with a Banquet and Medal presentation in the Newpark Hotel on Saturday 9th February 2019 and what a night of celebration it was. Medals were presented to our victorious Intermediate team on their wins in the League Shield Final, the Intermediate County Final and the Leinster Final. Our Juniors were presented with their medals for doing the League/Championship double in 2018 and our U21’s were presented with medals for their win in the U21B Championship.
Our sponsor, Ballykeeffe Distillery, opened proceedings with a drinks reception and the club presented Morgan and Anne Ging with a signed jersey to commemorate the wonderful year we had in 2018.
We held a raffle on the night with some great prizes and the proceeds were divided between two very deserving causes, St. Aidan’s NS’s new Sensory and Relaxation Room and The Smaritans.
