The U14s played two Challenge matches over the last seven days in preparation for their first round Roinn A League game against Mooncoin on April 15th.
On Bank Holiday, Monday they welcomed near-neighbours Callan to Tom Ryall Park and put in a great display with all panel players getting game time to put up a fine score to impress their mentors and get the 2016 campaign up and running.
This led onto a challenge against the mighty James Stephens on Friday evening on the Kells Rd and again the local boys showed their intent with great attitude in difficult weather conditions with 20 eager players anxious to claim their place.
The boys will train hard over the next fortnight and are looking forward to a few busy months ahead with 4 league games and a qualifying Feile weekend with it. Best of luck lads.
