On Saturday 29th August our u-8s were in Freshford for the last blitz for this year. At u-8 level we have two brilliant teams and on the day both teams had two matches. The great teamwork and brilliant play that both teams showed on the day was a credit to themselves.
They knew this was their last blitz and really put everything in to it. All backs defended, our great midfielders were hitting everything and the forward line were all getting goals. We the trainers Miriam, Martina, Jackie and Bridget can truly say all girls were only brilliant all year. St Brigid’s are very lucky that these u-8 players are playing for our club. Well done all!
