John Lockes of Callan visited Tom Ryall Park on Saturday morning to play a challenge
in beautiful sunshine. The game was broken into 3 periods of 15 minutes to allow plenty
of changes and give all players ample game time. The local boys started strongly and
put up some fine early scores to settle them into the game. The midfield duo of Jack Butler and Oisín Egan were dominant and they supplied plenty of balls into the forwards to continue their scoring spell. Fionn O’Halloran, Shane Comerford & Craig Lawlor defended well when the pressure came and Stephen Robinson, Mark Brennan, John Muldowney and Scott Lawlor
had the opposing defense in trouble each time they gained possession.
Graigue Ballycallan ran out comfortabe winners after the 45 mins of hurling and are looking forward to their next challenge over the coming weeks.
