St. Aidan’s NS had a terrific 2 point win against Castlecomer in their 2nd league game of year. In a game against the beaten finalists from last year and without their main scoring forward, Oisín Egan, due to sickness, this was certainly a great team performance. With Stephen Keoghan commanding the half back line, he also went up the field to bury a 21 yard Anthony Nash style goal. Super saves from goalie Jack Walton kept his team ahead at vital stages. Well done to all players and best of luck in next game against champions of last year St. Canice’s.
